Pollit & Wigzell 300hp steam engine and Galloway Boiler operating
under steam. Fantastic event and an amazing experience.
Full tours of mill are also available on these days where
you can see the spinning frames being powered by the restored
water wheel.

SOCK MACHINE DEMONSTRATIONS
During the summer (we are going to get one!) we will be having sock machine knitting demonstrations in the Mill shop. Helen King from Strands Knitwear www.strands-knitwear.co.uk will be demonsratring how to knit a sock on vintage hand cranked sock machines. Amazing Victorian machines that produce beautiful socks. Demos are taking place on the days listed between lunchtime and 4pm.
